How to Make a Bigger Illusion Quilt

The Illusion quilt pattern includes cutting instructions for two finished quilt sizes: 32-inch square and 64-inch square. However, I’ve received comments from a few quilters that they would like to make a bigger quilt. To help out those quilters with the math needed to make a larger Illusion quilt, I put together the following table.

The table shows the size of fabric you need to make half square triangles (HSTs) and flying geese (FG) units. Use the sizes provided (bold in table) instead of the sizes included in the tables on page 2 of the pattern. The number of pieces to cut remains the same.
