Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you’re spending the day with your loved ones! And if you’re by yourself today, for whatever reason, I hope you’re treating yourself with love!

Last weekend we were out of town, so I got a bit behind on my sewing projects. I really wanted to finish the Stand By Me quilt top sample I had been working on before Valentine’s Day, so the last few days have been quite busy for me. But I’m proud to say that I am done right on time!

I used fabric that I got from my mother-in-law’s stash for this quilt top (minus the background). The fabrics are over 30 years old! For the most part, they held up well, but I used some more heavily than others. Some fabrics seemed to have thinned a bit more than the rest.
